If you'd like to exhibit, share, inspire and teach at Maker Faire: NC in 2013 your time has come! We are now accepting applications for Makers.
Want a little help in figuring out how to succeed as a Maker at Maker Faire: NC? We have some short videos to help!
How is MFNC Different from a Craft Fair? (SPOILER: It's all about inspiring and interacting!)
What Makes a Good Maker Booth?
How Do We Choose Makers? (a.k.a.: all about the application process)
So what kinds of Makers are we looking for? We're looking for a bit of everything and anything that involves DOING IT YOURSELF. Robotics, traditional arts and crafts, woodworking, dying skills (think knapping or fletching), costuming and cosplay, hackerspaces and Maker Guilds, electric and alternative vehicles, greencycling, hydroponics, blacksmithing, casting, metalwork, jewelry-making and more!
There's very little limit to what we'll consider -- and we WANT as wide a range of topics as possible. The most important thing is that you come to share, inspire and teach others that they, too, can DO IT THEMSELVES. That's what sets us apart from a craft show, trade fair or art show. Although having a few items for sale it OK, we're not about displaying wares for sale. We're about sharing our knowledge and passion with the rest of the world.
APPLY NOW! We have an online system for applying up and running over at Faire Maker:
If you have an questions still unanswered, just drop a note to our Maker Coordinator (Kevin Gunn).
