We've hit our initial targets and now have a nice large pool of exhibitor applications for our first round of acceptances. Right now we're getting everything organized and ready for review so that we can the best of the bunch within the next week to ten days. I'm thrilled to say that there is a bunch of AWESOME on the way to Maker Faire: NC this year!
What This Means
First, this is your last chance to apply during the first round of acceptances if you haven't yet done so! Applications must be pertinent to Maker Faire -- we probably won't be able to accommodate non-Maker exhibitors this year even for a good cause, and vendors also need offerings that directly pertain to Makers and the Maker Movement.
If you have already applied, then we'll be reviewing your application shortly. If you don't get accepted in Round One, you're application will automatically be considered in subsequent selections -- nothing more you need to do. If an application needs more information for us to consider it or the application simply isn't a Maker exhibition, then we'll contact that applicant to give them/her/him a chance to fix it up and try again.
After that we'll keep looking for awesome stuff to bring to Maker Faire: NC. We'll also start showing off some of the great Makers that will be exhibiting. Watch this space!
