 I recently bought a Raspberry Pi and fell in love.  I've already put SiriProxy on it and then redid everything so I could run XBMC on it.  What a versatile little gizmo!  We're excited to see what the creative Makers in NC can do with one so  I bought another one to give away!  Thanks to generous donations from Hines Design Labs and our sister Faire, Maker Faire Rhode Island, we're thrilled to announce a big 'ol Raspberry Pi Prize Pack in our Raspberry Pi Giveaway!

Yup, that's right.  Free tickets!  What's better than the ridonculously low price of $4 for admission? $0 for admission!

All day today we will be giving away free pairs of tickets to Maker Faire North Carolina 2011!

But how do I get a free ticket, Jon?  It's easy, dear reader:

Winners will be announced in a followup blog post on Tuesday night 6/14.  Winners will be picked using a number generated at random.org based on the number of entries (comments to this blog post) received by midnight EST on Monday 6/13/2011.  Comments posted after midnight on Monday night will not be counted. You must be 18 or older to enter. Ticket is good for 2011 event only. Duplicate entries will be disqualified and deleted. Tickets will be e-mailed for home print-out and also available at will-call. Total tickets in this giveaway are 15 pairs (Them's good odds!). I humbly apologize for all these rules but we gotta say 'em.

Challenge Extravaganza ClockTHREEjr Giveaway (-N- Stuff)

We are going to celebrate the 2011 Maker Faire North Carolina (June 18) by giving away a one-of-a-kind Maker Faire NC ClockTHREEjr complete kit courtesy of WyoLum and Hines Design Labs.

You will have to be clever if you want to win the prize.  The winner will solve 5 puzzles around the Faire at 5 different booths.  At four o’clock, a final clue will be revealed at the WyoLum booth and wyolum.com.  The first person to solve the final puzzle will win the prize.  If the prize has not been claimed by four thirty, an additional clue will be revealed.  And clues will continue to be revealed every five minutes until the prize is claimed.
