Maker Faire:NC — ClockTHREEjr give-away announcement!

This just in from the ClockThree Team:

Challenge Extravaganza ClockTHREEjr Giveaway (-N- Stuff)

We are going to celebrate the 2011 Maker Faire North Carolina (June 18) by giving away a one-of-a-kind Maker Faire NC ClockTHREEjr complete kit courtesy of WyoLum and Hines Design Labs.

You will have to be clever if you want to win the prize.  The winner will solve 5 puzzles around the Faire at 5 different booths.  At four o’clock, a final clue will be revealed at the WyoLum booth and wyolum.com.  The first person to solve the final puzzle will win the prize.  If the prize has not been claimed by four thirty, an additional clue will be revealed.  And clues will continue to be revealed every five minutes until the prize is claimed.

See you at the MakerFaire!

Angus Hines has designed a three-tone, one-of-a-kind ClockTHREEjr faceplate to be given away on the day of the event.

Reminder: 3rd Triangle PechaKucha Night is TONIGHT!

PechaKucha Nights are local idea-sharing events in the 20 x 20 format: speakers present 20 slides for 20 seconds per slide. Slides advance automatically to keep things moving forward at a rapid pace. Anyone can present, but meaningful PechaKucha presentations are the ones that uncover the unexpected -- unexpected talent, unexpected ideas. The key to a great presentation is to present something you feel passionate about. Many people use PechaKucha Night to present their latest creative projects or work.

Date & Time: June 17th, 2010, at 7:30 pm (doors open at 6:30)
LocationRelevance200 North Mangum Street, Suite 204, Durham, NC, 27701
