The NC State Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) community will hold FOSSFair 2011 on Saturday, Feb. 12 on Centennial Campus. The FOSS Fair is done unconference-style--completely driven by its participants. Any and all topics related to free and open source software is fair game. Visit the FOSSFair website to register, suggest a session, or volunteer to give a talk yourself.

Writers Wanted for Maker Faire:NC Blog

The Maker Faire:NC blog is in search of North Carolina-based bloggers/writers to post periodic journal entries here on this website.  We would like to have correspondents posting updates about the Maker/Hacker scene in their city and in North Carolina in general.

Are you in Charlotte, Asheville, Raleigh, Durham, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Fayetteville, etc.?  I know that there are Makers all over North Carolina and we need your voice!
