My son and I made this Tesla Coil in 2007 after watching "The Prestige". It uses 2 - 9,000-volt 60-hertz neon sign transformers which is fed into the coil and is then transformed into approximately 100,000-volts at 300Mhz. It will produce up to a 30" arc.
