Open Hardware Makerspace (OHM) is a student-led organization at NC State University that empowers on-campus creativity and provides K-12 schools with hands-on activities and demonstrations. At Maker Faire, we will be both demonstrating completed projects and showcasing in-progress projects, which vary from 3D printers to SquishyCircuits to art robots. Founded in August 2011, OHM already featured $1.5 million in opportunities on its blog, was a finalist in a statewide education grant competition, and received a NC State Deborah S. Moore Service Award. OHM is excited to gain new partnerships and continue growth over the next year.
