Makers - 2012 > Makers S-Z > Woodturners Guild of NC
The Woodturners Guild of NC exists to promote woodturning education and generate a broader understanding of woodturning as an art form. We provide a meeting place for members and guests to share ideas and techniques on woodturning, and display their work. We welcome both the novice and experienced professional artists and craftspeople to our monthly meetings, where we hold demonstrations from local members and professional turners from around the world.
Established in 1992, WGNC is an official chapter of the AAW with more than 160 active members. We meet at 7:00 pm on the second Thursday of each month at the NC State University Craft Center. Find us online at woodturnersguild.com and on Facebook under /WoodturnersGuild
